Why I Built This Lenny Text Emotions Website ?
Hey, let me tell you a bit about how this all started. I'm a web developer and I make websites. My friends,
who are super active online, kept asking me to build something where they could find all kinds of text
emoticons (you know, those Japanese-style kaomoji or text faces) in one place. They just wanted to come to the
site, pick some cool ones, and decorate their messages easily.
Because of that, I decided to actually make it and put it online for everyone to use.
After a few months, they started requesting more stuff — like being able to add their own text, mix it with
